Didn’t meet the basics. While the location of the villas are nice facing the beach, it is not worth the ~$400 per night charged for a two bedroom self contained with a queen and 4 bunks. Hospitality is lacking from front reception, we did not feel a warm welcome. The venue doesn’t make up beds on the top bunks and they are making serious cheap budget choices with their cleaners, we had to take out our rubbish bin so not to incur an additional cleaning charge with a notice m in the kitchen advising so. The top bunk fitted sheet was dirty and we weren’t given sheets needed to make up the room, however, they were quick to address this when notified. This element is given a 2 star rating. The self contained villas require basics hospitality management, for a villa that sleeps 6, there are only 3 table spoons, an indoor table that sits 4 people, no soap dish in the bathroom. It doesn’t take much to make sure there is enough cutlery for people staying in the unit so we don’t have to eat breakfast with a teaspoon. I would give kitting out 3 stars. Sleeping was okay, sheets are clean, blankets are warm, pillows average. It was good but not great, I’d give the bedding a 3 star rating. Restaurant is great, the staff in this section are friendly and the food is delicious. The outside of the restaurant is really nice and I can see why people have weddings here. 5 stars for the restaurant :-) It is disappointing the accommodation isn’t up to the same standard as the restaurant, I wouldn’t stay here again, it hasn’t left a good impression on us. Staying across the bridge in Eden is recommended.

We had a quick visit, as there was a wedding ceremony commencing very soon. Very nice venue for weddings! I'm not sure if they were having the reception there, but it was set up for the ceremony. The white chairs on the sand and the floral decorated arch, was all ready to go for their ceremony. It was a beautiful and picturesque place to have a dreamy beach ceremony, with the backdrop of the sandy beach and beautiful ocean views. We could see the bride and her bridesmaids having a preparation drink as they were getting ready for the ceremony on the beautiful balconies of the old accommodation of the Seahorse Inn. The groom and groomsmen we saw later (as we were leaving), were out the front in the beautifully manicured gardens with the photographer. There is an area undercover (reasonably new) out the back of the Inn now (which was not there a few years ago) that has been built specifically for functions. It wasn't actually set up with any tablecloths, but it can be set up for an undercover function area with the beach in front of it. Perfect setting for that dreamy beach wedding!

Stayed in Villa 3. Rooms were squeaky clean, gas Burner and dishwasher both worked great, bed was comfy. Can't fault the place. Meal was delicious at the restaurant and special shout out to Shanan. Fantastic service, all done with a smile. He really made our stay extra special.

A one night stay enroute to Melbourne via the Princess Highway. Nice quiet spot with views of the bay back to Eden. The rooms are comfortable and large, some villas allow pets. The grounds are lovely and the restaurant was fine. Food was fine but not great. Lots of history with this place if you are interested.

A more up market venue for dining. We stopped and had lunch in the dining room before taking our drinks outside to the under cover pergola area where we had live music and a view of the water. Terrific venue fir a meal or drinks. You can also bring your dog and sit at the tables on the grass. It's was a lovely lazy afternoon.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Seahorse Inn. Gorgeous accommodation and a stunning location right on the beach. The friendly and welcoming staff made me feel at home immediately. I loved the cocktails, complimentary breakfast and art deco stylings. Perfect for getting away from it all. I was sad to leave!

The Captain's Cabin at Seahorse Inn is the ultimate expression of well appointed spacious couples accommodation. Remote from everyone but a short stroll to the bar, restaurant and beach. All the staff have been more than friendly, from check in to house keeping everyone has been fantastic. Meals are well presented and very tasty. Watching the sun come up over Two Fold Bay this morning while strolling on the beach was very special. A huge thank you to Monique, Holly, the team who brought our spectacular breakfast platter every morning (hot choccie still hot!), restaurant staff and the housekeeping team for making our stay so very special 😍😍😍

I only went to the pub in the late afternoon to evening for a drink and I thoroughly enjoyed the water ocean views, drinks, ambience at the outdoor area. If U can't afford to eat or stay at this place, make it a point to go for a drink. The place is well presented n such a treat in itself to visit. The staff actually gave me non alcoholic beverages on suggestion that I didn't exactly feel like having alcohol. The non alcoholic wines were great on the offer. Must visit on Ur Eden Merimbula trip. Next time I will stay n eat here as well.
